20,000 Leagues (Vegas Technology)

This is the second version of 20,000 Leagues online. The first game was released at Cryptologic casinos back in 2004. Now Vegas Technology casinos also have the game. The only real difference between the two versions is the fact that the Cryptologic game has a random jackpot and 9 line and this game has no random jackpot and 25 lines.

As you would expect with a name like 20,000 Leagues the game has an undersea theme. You have symbols such as submarines, divers, sharks and treasure chests on the reels.

In total there are 12 different symbols which make up a total of 36 unique winning combinations. The 20,000 Leagues symbol is wild and only appears on the middle reel. In addition to being wild it is also a key part of the combination needed to win the bonus feature.

As you cannot get five wild symbols the top jackpot combination is five Captain symbols which pay 5,000 credits. The next two highest pays are 2000 coins for five divers and 1000 credits for either five sharks or five treasure chests.

The playing card symbols make up all of the lower pays with five of a kind wins paying between 500 and 150 credits. The submarine symbols are scattered and only appear on reels 1, 2, 4, and 5.

To win the free spins bonus you need to get at least one scattered submarine with the 20,000 Leagues logo. For each submarine you get with the logo awards 10 free spins. Get all four and you win 40 free games.

The free spins are played at the triggering bet level and all wins are paid at double the usual rate. This makes the top jackpot grow to a nice 10,000 credits. The free spins can be re-triggered an unlimited amount of times.
