One of the earliest video slots online with a bonus feature, Buccaneers Bounty offers a 10,000 coin top jackpot and uses the five reel, five line format. It has one major difference from most of the slots online today. The winning combinations pay even if the symbols are not in consecutive order on a line.
This means that there are many more ways to win on each and every spin. For example if you hit 7, 7, Q, K, 7 on a pay line you still get the win for the three seven symbols. This makes for a really high hit rate since all combinations start at three symbols to win.
The game offers a great range of betting options. The highest jackpot is won by lining up five treasure chests on an active line. This pays 10,000 times your line bet or up to 50,000 coins at max bet. The treasure map landing anywhere on the reels takes you to the bonus game. On the second screen you get to see a pirate with some treasure chests. You get to click on one of the chests (View Second Screen) to reveal your bonus prize. The amount you can win varies widely, you only get to choose one chest and do not get to see what the others were which is probably a good thing.
