The original Captains Treasure slot was one of the earliest games to have 5 reels and 9 lines. The new version is very different from the original but the differences are all improvements.

Captains Treasure Pro has a great free spin bonus where your chances of hitting big wins are vastly increased. To win the free games you need to get three or more scattered chests anywhere on the reels. If you get the first two on reels 1 through 4 the final reels do the slow spin to keep you guessing.
Once hit you win 10 free games with a mystery scatter. The mystery scatter is decided at the start of the bonus and remains for the 10 spins and any additional re-triggers you get. The payout for the mystery scatter depends on the symbol selected. Top pays range from 100X to 5000X your bet!
During the free games any mystery scatters that appear on the reels are paid after the line wins. You can really hit big with this feature. For example if you get the captain as the mystery scatter and get five anywhere on the reels you win 500X your bet or $10,000 at the lowest max bet of $2. There are not many slots that offer such big wins for bets as low as this.
If you find that the wins are not quite big enough you can try to increase your winnings with the gamble feature. The double up is the same as you would find on US video poker games. Your aim is to pick a card higher than the one displayed. You can double all or half of your win.
