Crazy 80's Game Review

The 1980's was an era of colorful hair styles, acid washed jeans, arcade games and pastel colors. It was also a time where dance films were a common sight with movies such as Fame, Flashdance and Footloose all being released. The Crazy 80's video slot from Microgaming is a tribute to this colorful decade.

The game uses the popular five reel, nine line format and has a top jackpot of 5,000 coins. It comes in five coins sizes (25¢, 50¢, $1, $2 and $5) and you can only bet one coin per line. This makes for a minimum max bet of $2.25 and a high bet of $45 per spin.

The game has a total of 38 wining combinations. The girl symbol is split into two halves. The top half of the girl offers the biggest win of 6,000 coins for five of a kind. The next highest pay is 800 coins for four of the same symbols and the third highest pay is 600 coins for five of the middle of the girl symbols.

Interestingly enough all of the pays except for the jackpot are quite low, being 600 coins or below. While this may look like a bad thing it is good to see that the lower paying combinations do come up quite frequently. The wild symbol also helps as it substitutes for all symbols except the scatter.

The scatter symbols which at two dancing feet resembling Flashdance offer pays ranging from 100 times your bet for five. The good thing about the scatters is that they can appear anywhere on the reels and do not have to line up.

In the end Crazy 80's is a very simple nine line slot game with no additional bonus features or free games. If you are a fan of the 80's then it is well worth checking out. You might bring back some memories and if you are lucky hit the 6,000 coin top jackpot - even if you are not a fan of the 80's hitting this might change your mind.
