Evel Knievel

The Evel Knievel slot machine is based on the Daredevil Dave slot game from Vegas Technology. It is exactly the same game with the exception of the symbols and sounds. Due to the popularity of the first game Vegas Technology have released the Evel Knievel version.

The game uses the popular 5 reel, 20 line format and has a maximum bet of 20 coins per spin. There are lots of coin sizes to choose from. These range from $0.01 to $10. This means you have a wide selections of max bets with the range being between $0.20 and $200 per spin.

As usual the wild symbols offer the biggest jackpot. In this case the 1st place symbol is wild and pays up to 10,000 coins if you manage to line up 5 on any active line. Second highest pay is 2,000 coins for four wild symbols. The wilds substitute for everything but the bonus and scatter symbols.

Apart from the five wilds the wild symbols multiply any win they are a part of by 2. This boosts some of the smaller pays which is always good to see. In total there are just of 30 winning combinations with prizes ranging from 10,000 to 5 coins. All line wins pay from left to right only.

The game has two bonus features. One is a fairly standard free spin bonus and the other is an animated multi-stage bonus where you get to watch Evel performing stunts. The free spins are won by getting three, four or five of the scattered Evel logos anywhere on the screen.

This awards 15 free games with all wins tripled. This boosts the top payout to a big 30,000 coins. The free spins can be re-triggered an unlimited amount of times so you can really get some serious wins on the free games.

The second bonus is activated by getting a Bonus Rider on both reels 2 and 4. This starts off the animated bonus stage. Here you get to see Evel preparing for a jump. Hit the jump button to send him on his way up the ramp and hopefully to the other side. (View Screenshot).

If he makes the jump you get a bonus pay and get a shot and the next jump. If he crashes your bonus ends and any previous wins are paid. In total there are four jumps. Wins are based on your triggering bet as well as the position of the Bonus symbols used to activate the feature.

While it is a little odd for the same software company to release two almost identical games, Evel Knievel is sure to be a hit and will most likely be more popular in the future than the original Daredevil Dave game.
