Geisha Story is a Japanese theme slot from Playtech. It is the first Playtech slots to use the 5 reel, 15 line format and like most modern day video slots it has a bonus feature. In this case the bonus is free spins with up to a 10X multiplier. You also have the option of a $1 side bet for a progressive.

The game has really rich graphics with symbols such as koi, blossoms, fans, tea, bonsai trees and geisha's all appearing on the reels. The man symbols is wild and acts like a joker for all wins except scattered Geishas and old man. Getting five wild men awards the top pay of 10,000 coins times your line bet.

Speaking of line bet's you can choose to play between 1 and 10 coins per line. This makes for a maximum bet of 150 coins per spin. Like all of the Playtech games you have a great variety of coin sizes to choose from. These range from one cent and five dollars giving a max bet range of $1.50 to $750.

In a bit of a twist the scattered old man symbols do not activate any bonus games. They are still worth seeing as five scatters pays 50 times your total bet or 7,500 coins. This is the second highest pay available during regular play.

The Geisha symbols only appear on the first and last reels. To win the feature you need to get one on both reels in any position. You then move on to a short pick a box style stage where you win an amount of free games and a multiplier. To do this you have to choose fans (View Screenshot).

You can win up to 20 free games and multipliers as high as 10X. One of the features of the game that we don't really like is the fact that you always get to see what you missed out on. This is not so bad if you selected well but can be a bit annoying if you selected the worst option.

With the 10X multiplier you can get some big jackpots. For example get the five wild men with max bet and you win 1,000,000 coins. Get the five scatters on the free games and you win 75,000 coins. Even at the 1c coin size the top jackpot on the feature pays $10,000.
