In a growing trend Microgaming have released another slot based on a comic book character. In this case Hellboy, a creation of Mike Mignola makes his first slot machine appearance. This follows on from several movies including the original Hellboy released in 2004 and then Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
Interestingly Microgaming decided to go with the original comic book style rather than a more modern movie inspired game. This as you would expect gives the whole game a comic book feel which will appeal to the original fans of the Hellboy comics.
The game uses the 5 reel, 20 line format and has a maximum bet of 200 coins. Coin sizes range from 1c to 25c so you are looking at between $2 and $50 a spin at max bet with lots of options between the two. As usual the more you bet the bigger the potential wins.

The second bonus on Hellboy is the Underworld Bonus. This is triggered by getting three or more scattered fist symbols anywhere on the reels.
