Knights of Glory is a 5 reel, 15 line progressive slot with a medieval theme. It has impressive graphics and an equally impressively animated bonus stage. the game is part of the Boss Media progressive range and shares it's jackpot with four other slot machines.
On the reels you have symbols such as Crowns, Queens, Knights, Castles, Horses and Shields. Individual winning combinations have their own win sounds which is a nice touch.
Knights of Glory comes in 4 coin sizes with a different jackpot for each coin size. As with most other progressives you have to play max bet to have a shot at the jackpot. In this case max bet is 150 coins. This is fine if you are playing in the 1c or 5c coin size but gets very expensive at the $1 coins size.
We don't really like the fact that the casinos advertising the big jackpots available on this game but in reality if you want to win the advertised jackpot you need to bet a huge $150 per spin. The lower coin sizes do offer nice jackpots but compared to other slots where you can win a million or more for $3 this is not exactly ideal.
Anyhow, to win the progressive you need to line up five of the jackpot logos on any paid line. One the base game the top line pay is 10,000 coins for five crowns. This same jackpot can be won with five wild symbols. The wild acts like a joker for everything but the bonus, jackpot and scatters.
Keep an eye out for the scattered weapon symbols as they award free spins. Getting 3, 4 or 5 award 8, 15 or 30 free games. There is no multiplier for the feature but the jackpot, bonus and more spins can be won during the bonus.
At the top right of the game there is a counter. This is used to activate the Jousting Bonus Stage. You need to collect 1000 points to start the bonus and points are awarded every time a joust symbol appears on the reels. Each joust symbol gives you the same amount of points as you bet so at max bet you get 150 points per symbol.
Once won you move on to the Joust Bonus (Screenshot). There are four rounds and you have to win each round to continue. Select your opponent and then you get to watch a animation of the joust (Screenshot). There is the chance to win up to 10,000 coins on this bonus. The wins in the first two round are only 100 and 400 coins so you can win less than your total bet which obviously is not too exciting.
Knights of Glory is a great looking slot game which could have easily been one of the most popular online slots. Unfortunately the big max bet and the low wins on the bonus feature make it a game that is a bit hit and miss. |
