We have a major millionaire! Just over a month and a half after Microgaming
launched Major Millions and Tony P has hit a $1,594,649.21 win.
This smashes the previous record of just $414,000 by well over
a million dollars. As the first winner Tony also gets a free
trip to Monte Carlo.
The top three single jackpot wins hit online are now. even with
some players winning up to eight jackpots none have surpassed Tony's
single cash win.
- $1,594,649.21 by Tony P on Major Millions
- $414,119 won by "BOBO" on Rags To riches
- $389,843.85 won by Oliver C on Treasure Nile
The initial popularity of Major Millions has been very impressive with
an average of just over $32,000 being added to the progressive each day
since launch. In the last few days as jackpot fever took over the game
was climbing at a rate over over $100,000 per day.
Tony was understandably in shock after spinning up the life changing prize
at Captain Cooks Casino. In a few weeks he will be taking some time off
work to take the trip of a lifetime with his wife to Monte Carlo. Also
on the trip will be representatives of Microgaming and Jackpot Madness.
About Major Millions
At the time of writing this article the jackpot on Major Millions was
already sitting at over $270,000. Not surprising when the base prize is
a quarter of a million dollars. The game costs $3 per spin and has a classic
three reel format.
The
wild symbol is the key to winning the biggest prizes including the progressive.
It also acts a win multiplier for the smaller wins. Much like Double Diamonds
one wild multiplies you win by two and two wilds quadruple your win. Get
three and you are in the money.
Three wilds pays either $25,000, $50,000 or the progressive depending
on which line they appear on. Each coin adds a new line so playing maximum
bet on every spin is an absolute must if you are going for the top pay.

What Happens Next?
For two years we have been waiting to see someone win a jackpot
of over $1,000,000 online. It really did not take that long to happen
when compared with same rise in jackpots at land-based casinos. The next
step we will now look forward to is the multi-million dollar win. It might
take a while for an online game to beat the Megabucks record of $34.9
million but it will happen.
