Orient Express is available at all Vegas Technology powered casinos. It uses a rarely seen five reel, twenty one line format and as the name suggests features and oriental theme. If you are looking for something a little different then it is worth having a spin or two just to see all of the lines in play.
On the reels there are a total of seven symbols. These are a dragon, a gong, a bonsai tree (with money growing from it), a tiger, a boat, a girl and a wallet. There is no wild symbol or scatter pay which is quite rare to see on a game with so many lines. There is one twist however that boosts the hit rate.
Orient Express pays wins from left to right and from right to left. This means you have double the ways to win on every spins. The fact also that there are so few symbols mean that you will win at least something on virtually every spin. The catch is that what you win is more than often less then your bet.
The dragon symbols offer the highest pays with 2,500 coins being awarded for five in a row. Second highest pay is 1,000 coins for four dragons or five gongs. From there you have a 500 coin win for the five trees and two ways to hit for 250 coins. After this all wins are 100 coins or below.
With a 21 coin max bet, Orient Express offers a wide range of betting options. You can choose from coin sizes ranging between $10 and $0.01. This means you can have all 21 lines spinning for as little as $0.21 or as much as $210 per spin - definitely only for the serious high rollers.
Overall, Orient Express is an interesting game that offers some good medium sized jackpots but does not offer any type of additional bonus. |
