The game uses the highly popular 20 line 5 reel format and has a maximum bet of 400 coins. It also has some of the widest betting limits we have seen for a Microgaming slot as it has coin sizes ranging from 1c to $1. This means you can play between 40c and a huge $400 per spin.

The Pharaoh symbol is wild but only appears on reels 1 and 5. The good news is that it doubles any win it is a part of. The top five symbol pay is 3,000 coins for five archeologists which pays 6,000 if a wild pharaoh is part of the winning combination. If you are playing 20 coins per line this pays 120,000 coins.

This jackpot pays between $1,200 and $120,000 at max bet depending on the coin size you are playing. Other good pays include 100 times your bet for five scattered scarabs, 1000 coins for five sphinx symbols and 500 coins for either five maps or five bags. All line wins are multiplied by your line bet.

The scarabs are the key to the Pharaohs Tomb. Hit three, four or five anywhere on the reels and you move on to the bonus screen game. The bonus is a three stage game where your aim is to find the key to the next part of the tomb. Each screen has three sarcophagi and you get to pick one (View Screenshot).

You only get one pick per stage. If you find the key you get a bonus win and move on to the next stage. If you do not find the key you get a win that is double your bet and the bonus ends. Finding all three keys awards the highest possible prize of 100 times your total bet or 40,000 coins at max.

It is an interesting bonus as it can be a bit frustrating if you take a long time to hit the bonus and then miss the key the bonus ends with a 800 coin win. Still the fact that you can win 40,000 coins makes it an exciting feature.
