Red, White and Win

Initially launched in 2001, Red, White and Win has been re-launched with a different progressive prize system. The coin size of $2.50 remains but now you can get a piece of the jackpot even if you do not play maximum bet. This is quite unusual but is sure to make the game more popular.

The theme has not changed from the original version. The games still has an American theme with symbols such as American flags, eagles and the Statue of Liberty all appearing on the reels. There is no wild symbol but there are winnings combinations for several one and two symbol combinations.

The American flags are the key to the progressive jackpot. The jackpot starts at $40,000 and has climbed as high as $900,000 in the past. To win the top jackpot you need to line up three flags on the pay line. If you are playing max bet ($7.50 per spin) you win 100% of the jackpot.

The new version also offers jackpots for one and two coin play. If you are betting one coin and line up the flags you win 5% of the jackpot. If you are betting two coins you win 10% of the jackpot. While this does make the game more accessible for players with lower budgets we still recommend playing max bet on ever spin.

After the progressive jackpot the second highest pay is 1,500 coins for three statue of liberty symbols. After this the wins drop to 750 coins for three eagles followed by 300, 240 and 120 coins for the nest three highest wins.

It is good to see that Vegas Technology have updated Red, White and Win as it was looking a bit dated and had lost a bit of ground to the other big progressive slot machines. Now with this new version we are sure to see increased interest which means faster growing jackpots and more winners.
