The original version of Reel in the Cash was one of the first online slots to have a bonus game. Now Cryptologic have released a new version of the game using the 5 reel, 20 line format. The game is similar to Reel Em In from WMS Gaming so if you like that game you will like Reel in the Cash.

Just like the original version the game has a fishing theme. On the reels you have symbols such as golden lures, fishermen, marlin, sharks, crabs and worms. Even the A, K, Q, J and 10 symbols have been converted into fish.

The game has a max bet of 20 coins per spin. You can choose from a big range of coin sizes which start at a penny and go up to $20. This makes the max bet range between 20c and $400 per spin. As usual the bigger you bet the bigger the potential wins on the reels and on the bonus.

The Golden Lure symbol is wild. Like most video slots the top jackpot is for five wild symbols. In this case the jackpot pays 5,000 coins. In money terms this can pay anywhere from $50 to $100,000 depending on the coin size you play in. The Golden Lures substitute for everything but the fishermen.

After the top jackpot there are quite a few good mid level pays on Reel in the Cash. These pays include 3000 coins for five marlins, 2000 coins for five sharks and two ways to hit for 1000 coins with either the five crabs or four of the wild lures. Five fishermen also pay 100X your bet or 2000 coins at max.

Each round of the bonus has two parts. The first stage is selecting a lure. To do this you simply click one of the boxes. The lure reveals the multiplier for your catch. .The best multiplier we saw was X5. Once you have picked a lure you get to choose where to fish. Select a location on the map and you move to that location and cast your line. Your catch then appears and awards a win of between X5 and X25 your bet.
