Santa Strikes Back is an RTG progressive slot with a Christmas theme. It follows on from the popular Rudolph's Revenge slot and even has the same bonus game as well as a new type of free spins. The Santa symbol is wild and makes up the jackpot combination. Get five Santa symbols on any active line and you win the progressive jackpot. The Santa is wild for all symbols except the two scatters.

Top jackpot after the progressive is 2,000 coins for five of the Rudolph symbols. This is followed by a 1,000 coin pay for four Santa symbols and then the next best line win is 1,500 coins for five Mrs. Claus symbols. Five a kind pays range from the jackpot to 200 coins.

There are two types of scatters on Santa Strikes Back. These are the Victorious Santa and the Victorious Rudolph. Every time that two or more scatters appear on the reels Santa and Rudolph fight it out to see who is victorious. This adds a bit of a twist as you need three of the same scatters to trigger a feature. It can be slightly annoying as you can get four scatters and still not win any bonus if you get two of each victorious symbols.

If you do get three of the same scatters you win one of two features. Five Victorious Rudolph symbols activate the Rudolph's Revenge bonus. This is the same free spin feature seen on the Rudolph's Revenge slot. You win 7 free spins with all wins multiplied by two. Any winning spin is also multiplied by the number of Santa symbols on the screen.

The Rudolph's Revenge feature is re-triggered whenever three or more scatters appear as Rudolph is always victorious when the scatters appear on the feature. Each re-trigger awards another 3 free spins. In our experience the re-triggers were quite frequent.

The second free spins bonus is triggered by getting three or more Victorious Santa scatters anywhere on the screen. You then win 7 free spins with an initial multiplier of X1. During the free spins the Santa and Rudolph symbols have Candy Canes added and stars appear at the top of the reels. Getting a Candy Cane lights up the star on the reel it appears on.

Lighting up all five stars resets the free games back to 7 games and increases the multiplier by one. The feature can be reset up to 19 times which would give you a huge X19 win multiplier. This might seem great but the RTG max win limit kicks in and limits the top pay to 50,000 coins. Still with a X19 multiplier you should at least hit the limit.
