Shopping Spree is a 25c progressive slot from RTG. It uses the popular 5 reel, 9 line format and has a max bet of 45 coins per spin. Since the game is a progressive you should only play it if you are going to play max bet as you cannot win the jackpot if you play less than 45 coins per spin.

At the 25c coin size 45 coins equates to $11.25 so the game is really only for gamblers with a fairly big bankroll. The jackpot starts at $100,000 and has gone as high as $900,000+. To win the progressive you need to line up five of the diamond ring symbols on any active line. Again you have to be playing 45 coins per spin to qualify for the jackpot. After the progressive jackpot the next highest pays take a big drop. Five pearl necklaces pay 3200 coins which is $800 - a massive drop from the highest pay that starts at $100,000. Still this is not uncommon to have such a big drop for the second highest pay on progressive slots.

Shopping Spree has two extra bonuses. They are the Cash Bonus and the Mystery Grab Bag Bonus. Both bonuses are activated by the scatter symbols. To win the Cash Bonus you need to get a scattered dollar sign symbol on the middle three reels. The game then randomly awards a prize up to 350 coins.

The Mystery Grab Bag bonus is won by getting a shopping bag on reels 1, 3 and 5. When activated you move to a second screen stage where you have 16 question marks (View Screenshot). The bonus is a pick until stop type game. You pick question marks to reveal prizes and the bonus ends when you reveal a stop symbol. You can win up to 4000 credits on this bonus.

Shopping Spree is a well done progressive with a great starting jackpot that grows quickly. Obviously it is a game more targeted towards high rollers but if you have a big bankroll it is worth a spin or two.
