The Grand Circus is a five reel, twenty line video slot featured at Microgaming online casinos. As the name indicates it has a circus theme with symbols such as a scattered ring master, a big top tent, lions, elephants and of course what would a circus be without clowns.
The game has some fairly wide betting limits as you can play is coin sizes ranging from 1c to $1. Max bet is 200 coins so if you are going to bet max you can play between $2 and $200 per spin. If you have a smaller budget you can play this game at just one coin per line without missing any bonuses.
No wild symbol is present on Grand Circus. There are two ways to hit the top 1,000 coin jackpot during regular play both of which are scatter pays. Hit five Grand Circus logos or five of the scattered ring masters and you win the top prize. All wins including the scatters pay aligned left to right only.
There is one interesting pay on The Grand Circus. Any combination of Grand Circus Symbols and ringmasters also pay a win ranging from 100 to 500 coins. This is the first time we have seen two different scatter symbols that can work with each other. After these wins the five symbol combinations range from 300 for five clowns to 100 for five snacks.
The Circus Tent symbol is the bonus feature activator. Get three or more aligned left to right and you win one of three random bonus games. These bonuses are Random Win, Free Spins or Pick a Box Bonus. The random win feature awards a random amount of coins.
The free spin feature awards up to 20 free games. On the free games there is a bonus win added to the reels for the Circus tent symbols which pay up to 250X your bet if you manage to get 5. This pays the highest possible game jackpot of 50,000 coins.
The pick a box style bous is quite fun. When activated you are moved to a second screen where there are six bears on bicycles on a tightrope. Click a bear to fire a clown from a cannon and reveal your bonus prize. As with all Microgaming slots the animations are top notch (View Screenshot).
The Grand Circus offers some unique game play with all of the big wins being scatter pays. The random bonus game adds some excitement as you never know what you will win when you hit the bonus symbols. |
