Treasure Trail is one of five progressive slot machines available at all Vegas Technology powered online casinos. It only comes in the two dollar coin size and has a max bet of three coins so you are looking at six dollars a spin to be eligible for the top jackpot. Of course with a six dollar max bet the jackpots are quite high, starting at $50,000 and going as high as $400,000+.
As the name suggests the game has a treasure theme. Behind the reels is a treasure map and the symbols all resemble things you would find on a hunt for pirates treasure. These include parrots, gold bars, treasure chests, skull and cross bones, telescopes and of course the X symbol for X marks the spot. THe only symbol that does not seem to fit into the theme is the sevens.
The X symbol is wild and acts lie a joker for all of the other symbols. It is also the X symbol which leads to the main loot on Treasure Trail. Hit the X symbols on the pay line with max bet and you win the progressive. In a bit of a twist you can still win part of the jackpot if you play less than max bet.
If you play one coin per line and hit the three wilds you win 15% of the current jackpot. If you play two coin per spin and hit the jackpot you win 25% of the current jackpot. While this might seem attractive we still only recommend that you play this game at max bet as 100% of the jackpot is always going to be over $50,000 and missing out for playing one coin less in not ideal.
Other than the top jackpot there is only really one other big win on the reels. The wilds with their 2X and 4X multipliers can really boost you wins with three treasure chests paying 500 coins without any wilds and a big 2000 coins if you get two wilds as part of the win or $4,000 in cash.
From there the pays take a big dip to 50 coins for three skulls (100 or 200 coins with one or two wilds) and from there all of the three of a kind pays are 25 credits or less. The 7's are a bit like the cherries on most games in that getting one, two or three gives you a small win.
In the end, Treasure Trail is really only a progressive slot for those with medium to big bankrolls as you are looking at $6 per spin if you are to stand a chance at winning 100% of the jackpot. |
