Witch's Brew

Witch's Brew is a Slotland progressive slot that was released for Halloween, 2011. The game has a unique style of feature where you collect symbols to brew up wilds. It has a starting progressive jackpot of $50,000. To win the progressive you need to hit three of the wild Pumpkin symbols on the pay line.

The game can be played via two different versions. There is a flash based version that is compatible with any system that can us flash including Mac and PC. There is also an HTML version that is compatible with everything else including iPad and iPhone. We suggest going for the flash version if you can as this version has sound and better graphics.

You can play Witch's Brew in a number of different coin sizes that start at 0.50 and go up to 4.00. The pay table is not entirely clear on the bet requirement for the jackpot but we would assume that you have to play the top coin size of $4 per spin to qualify for the progressive.

There are seven symbols on the reels and seven cauldrons below the reels. Each time you get a symbol on the pay line that symbols is thrown into the respective cauldron. Each cauldron has a meter that shows how close it is to full. Once you will up a cauldron that symbol becomes wild for a set amount of spins.

This feature is the key to the jackpot as you need three wild Pumpkins to win the progressive. Oddly there is no pay for three wilds so if you get three mixed wild symbols you get the pay for the three of a kind based on the symbol on the left. If you get a mixed wild pay with a wild Pumpkin on the left you get the pay for three Pumpkins not the progressive.

We always like to see something new and Witch's Brew delivers on this with the wild feature. It is also good to see a Slotland game with a lower progressive bet requirement. This makes for a great game where you can win some serious jackpots for a relatively small total bet.
