Fat Cat was originally released at Cryptologic casinos as a 9 line slot with a Rapid Fire Jackpot. Now there is a second version found at Vegas Technology casinos with uses the 5 reel, 20 line format. Apart from the difference in lines and the Rapid Fire Jackpots the games are identical.

The Vegas Technology version of the game has a 20 coin max bet with the following coin size options - 1c, 5c, 25c, 50c, $1 and $5. This makes the max bet range between 20c and $100 per spin.

The Fat Cat symbol is wild and acts like a joker for all of the symbols with the exception of the scattered dollar signs. Getting five Fat Cat symbol on a line awards the top line win of 5,000 credits. Second highest line win is 2000 credits for five of the Kitty Cat symbols.

In a bit of a twist the wins possible on the bonus stage are much bigger than those available on the reels. To win the bonus feature you need to get three or more of the scattered dollar sign symbols. Get five of the scatters and you win an instant 100 times you bet and as well as a shot at the bonus.

On the second screen stage you get to see a safe with eight dollar signs. The good news is that you get to pick all eight to reveal prizes (Screenshot). The bonus rewards are based on multiples of your triggering bet with the best outcome being 1000X your bet per pick.
