Field of Green is a video slot with an NFL theme (American Football for our international visitors). It's a 20 line game with a bonus feature, a random progressive jackpot and a rare line payout format where wins pay both from left to right and right to left.

The both ways pay feature means that you have in effect double the chances of winning on each and every spin. It's quite a rare feature with only a handful of other online slots paying both ways. This makes Field of Green an attractive game even if you are not a football fan.

The football theme is captured well with symbols such as players, trophies, cheerleaders, helmets and of course footballs all appearing on the reels. The trophy symbols are wild but there is no specific payout for getting all of the wilds. Instead you get the 8,000 coin top pay for the five players with a wild.

The wild trophies are still important as they double any win they are a part of. So five players without a wild pay only 4,000 coins. The next three highest line wins with a wild are 2,000 (Five Helmets), 1,000 (Five Whistles ) and 400 (Five Cheerleaders). The A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 make up all of the lower pays.

The footballs are scattered but must align either right to left or left to right so if for instance you get a ball on reels 1 and 5 you won't get a win. If you manage to get three or more balls aligned either way you win a shot at the bonus screen game where you can win instant prizes or free spins.

On the bonus screen game you are transported to the field where you will have between three and five kicks at the goal (View Screenshot). The amount of kicks you get depends on how many balls you started the bonus with. Credit prizes range from 100X to 5X and free spin wins range from 5 to 25.

Once you have used up your kicks you bonus awards are added and any free spins are played. All wins on the free spins are tripled which means you can hit for up to 24,000 coins if you manage to line up the top jackpot. Unfortunately the bonus cannot be won again during the feature.
