Fire Burner is a progressive slot found at Boss Media powered online casinos. It has a linked jackpot that is available on four other games which means the jackpot grows faster than it would on a stand alone game. The game also has a pick a box bonus which gives you an extra way to win.

The game comes in the 1c, 5c, 25c and $1 coin sizes. Each denomination has a separate jackpot and each jackpot link has three levels. These are the Jackpot, Super Jackpot and Grand Jackpot. As you would expect the biggest jackpots are available at the $1 coin size although there is a big catch.

To qualify for the progressive you have to play maximum bet. Fire Burner has a 150 coin max bet so if you want to go for the biggest jackpots you have to play a huge $150 per spin. Clearly this makes the big prizes available only to serious high rollers. The other bet levels do offer nice jackpots but they are not nearly as big as those on the $1 coin size.

To win the progressive you need to line up three, four or five Jackpot coin symbols. Three awards the Jackpot, four awards the Super Jackpot and five wins the Grand Jackpot. If you play less than max bet the same combinations pay 100 coins, 1000 coins and 10,000 coins.

On the base game the highest jackpot is 10,000 coins for hitting five of the girls. Second highest pay is 5,000 coins for five chilies and third highest pay is 2,500 coins for five watermelons. There is a wild symbol that substitutes for everything but the scatters and the jackpot symbols. There is no specific pay for the wilds so getting five on a line pays the same as five girls.

The scattered fire extinguishers are the ticket to the free spins. Get three, four or five scatters anywhere on the reels and you win 10, 25 or 50 free games respectively. There is no multiplier for the free games and the scatters do not give you any win which is a bit disappointing.

Fire Burner also has a second screen bonus. At the top right of the game is a counter. Every time a bonus symbol appears anywhere on the reels the amount of your bet is added to the total. Once you reach 750 points you move on to the bonus game.

The bonus is a pick until stop type game where you pick boxes and move up the pyramid. Each pick awards either a coin win or a stop symbol. You get to pick one box from each level until you either reach the top or pick a stop. One thing we don't like about this bonus is that you quite often win less than your total bet. In the end, Fire Burner is a well done game with several ways to win. It would be much more popular if it had a smaller max bet for the big jackpots. At the current bet levels the big jackpots are not going to be hit too often.
