Ghost Rider (Playtech)

Ghost Rider is a Playtech video slot that is part of the Marvel Jackpots series. It is the second Ghost Rider theme slot to be released online with the first Ghost Rider slot part of the Cryptologic progressive network. This version uses the 5 reel, 20 line format with two bonus features and four jackpots that are won via the Marvel Jackpot Bonus.

The Ghost Rider symbols are wild but only appear on the middle three reels. While you cannot get a full line of wilds they still substitute for everything but the bonus symbols and become even more important on the free spins where they are expanding wilds.

The top line win on Ghost Rider is 10,000 coins and is won by lining up five of the Johnny Blaze symbols on any active line. The rest of the five of a kind line wins come in at between 1,000 coins and 50 coins.

The first feature on Ghost Rider is a free spins bonus that is triggered by getting three or more of the scattered Ghost Rider logos anywhere on the screen. As usual, five scatters offer the best pay with a 100X your total bet win or 2,000 coins. Once triggered you get 10 free games with all wins tripled.

During the free spins the wild Ghost Rider symbols become expanding wilds. This makes it possible to get the top line win on several lines at one with all wins tripled. For example getting the Johnny Blaze symbols in the right position with all three wilds can pay up to 150,000 coins in a single spin. The free spins can be re-triggered which is good to see.

The second bonus on Ghost Rider is the Ghost Hunt Bonus. This is triggered by collecting the Motorcycle symbols on all five reels.
