Unlike slots where you place a bet per line on Jewel Quest you decide how much you want to bet per spin. This can be anywhere from $1 to $500 a game. The maximum win per spin is 2000 times your bet. This means the top jackpot is between $2000 and $100,000 depending on your bet level.

Just like the flash game Jewel Quest starts with a grid of squares. When you press spin Jewels appear and any line of three or more jewels horizontal or vertical explode and cascade to allow more jewels on to the screen. The positions where the jewels explode then highlight.

To finish the level you need to have all of the squares highlighted. At the end of each level you receive a level cleared bonus which is between 10.61 and 21.15 times your bet. It is worth noting that once you have started a level you cannot change your bet level without clearing the progress.
