Pearls of Atlantis

Pearls of Atlantis is a nine line progressive slot found exclusively at Slotland. The game requires no download to play and comes in two versions - an html game that is compatible with everything and a flash version that is compatible with any system that can use flash including Windows and Mac computers.

The game comes in several coin sizes that start at 0.25. It's worth noting that you have to bet at least a total of $10 per game to have a chance at winning the progressive. Oddly there is no way to bet exactly $10 with all lines.

The $1 coin size gives you $9 while the $2 coin size comes in at $18. This means you either have to play $18 per spin with all lines or $10 per spin with only five lines which is not ideal. If you do bet at least $10 per game and line up five of the Mermen you win the progressive which is always at least $50,000 and more often than not much higher.

If you are playing less than $10 per game the five Mermen pay 1,200X your line bet. No matter what you bet the second highest pay is 600 coins for five of the Mermaid symbols. This is followed by 240 coins for five Lizards and then 120 coins for five Sea Horses.

The Treasure Chest symbols are the key to the bonus feature. When you get three or more chests anywhere on the screen you get to select one to reveal one of three items. These items are as follows.

• Gold : A random win value is added to the treasury
• Gems : Adds wins to the inner section of the bonus wheel
• Segments : Adds multipliers to the outside section of the bonus wheel

Once you have collected all five pieces of the outer section of the bonus wheel the wheel lifts from the sea floor and starts the bonus. You then click spin to start the wheel and win if the pointer stops on any inner section with a win value. The amount you win is based on the amount you have collected via the gold during regular play.

Like some versions of Wheel of Fortune you can then take your wheel win or try to increase your wins by spinning the wheel again. If you choose to spin again you are looking for multipliers on the outer wheel. You can keep spinning the wheel until you either collect or land on a lose segment which ends the bonus with no win.

Pearls of Atlantis is one of the few Wheel of Fortune style slots still available for US players so it is sure to be a very popular choice with Slotland players. The only catch is that you really have to play a big $18 per spin if you want a shot at the main progressive.
