While Reel Riot can be played in coin sizes starting at $1 you have to play the maximum coin size of $40 to qualify for the progressive. This makes for one of the highest bet requirements of any online progressive and means that only high rollers can go for the jackpot. If you play any other coin size you cannot win the progressive.

The Double Wild symbol is wild for all other symbols and also acts as a win multiplier like the one on Double Diamond. Get one Double Wild and your win is doubled. Get two as part of a win and your win is quadrupled. If you line up three Double Wild symbols on the pay line you win the progressive if you are betting $40 per spin or 1,000 coins if you're not.

Reel Riot has two game features with the first being the option to hold reels. When the Hold button light up below the reels you can select to hold any or all of the reels. This means you can get a second shot at a good pay if you miss out the first time.

The second bonus on Reel Riot takes place on a separate set of reels. To trigger the bonus you need to get three Double Wild symbols anywhere on the screen but not on the pay line. You then move to a second set of reels where you have three levels of prizes.

You start on the lowest reel and click spin to start the symbols flashing. You win whatever symbol is highlighted when the symbols stop flashing. Possible outcomes are instant cash prizes, level up or stop. If you land on a Stop position the bonus ends. If you land on a multiplier you win a cash prize and a level up takes you up one level on the reels.

The bonus can go on for quite a while and you can get some nice pays on the bonus including the top award of 50X your bet. If you are playing for the progressive at $40 per spin this pays a nice $2,000.

In the end, Reel Riot is another good addition to the Slotland game range. We would have liked to see a much smaller bet level required for the jackpot but if you have the budget to play $40 per spin then Reel Riot is well worth a look.
