Win a Fortune is a 5 reel, 15 line progressive slot found at Win A Day Casino. The game is clearly inspired by Wheel of Fortune - one of IGT's most popular slot of all time. Win A Fortune is part of the jackpot link at Win A Day so you always have a jackpot of at least $50,000 and more often than not a lot higher.

You can select from a good range of coin sizes starting at 0.01 and max bet is 15 coins per spin. It has to be noted that you have to bet a total of at least $5 to qualify for the progressive. We have a bit of an issue with this as there is no way to bet all lines with exactly $5. Instead you have to play $7.50 per spin if you want to play all lines and have a shot at the jackpot.

Another small issue we have is that there is no total bet indicator anywhere on the game. This means you have to multiply your line bet by your selected coin size. While this might not seem like an issue an unwary player may think the the bet indicator is the total bet.

There are eight symbols on the reels with four gems (Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby and Diamond) as well as four playing card symbols (J, Q, K and A). The gems offer the highest pays with five Diamonds awarding 1000 coins or the jackpot if you have at least $5 in play. Second highest pay is 500 coins for five Ruby or four Diamond symbols.

Win a Fortune has several bonus features. The first two are where the Wheel Bonus comes in. The wheel has an outer and inner section. When you hit an outer section symbol on the last reel the wheel spins to reveal your wild symbol. This symbol remains wild until you spin the wheel again.

The inner section of the wheel can multiply your win by up to X5. This bonus is won by getting an inner section symbol anywhere on the last reel. The inner reel then spins and any win on the reels can then either be collected, multiplied by up to five or the gamble option can be activated where you can try to double you win.

The Double feature is the final bonus on Win A Fortune. When a Double symbol appears on the last reel with any win on that spin you can try to double up your win up to five times. The potential win is displayed on the meters on the right of the reels. Its a simple case of clicking spin and hoping that Double lights up instead of lose.

Due to the way the double feature works you have to keep a close eye on what's happening on the reels. As the spin and double button are the same you can accidentally double a big win if you're not careful. If you do not want to double a win you have to press collect.

Win a Fortune is a good addition to the game range at Win A Day and is their only Wheel of Fortune style slot. We would have liked to see a lower bet requirement for the progressive but other than this the game offers something a bit different at Win A Day Casino.
