Daredevil Dave is a 5 reel, 20 line video slot that is a tribute to people like Evel Knievel. There is something about daredevils that everyone likes. I think it is probably the fact that they push the envelope while most of us go through life without intentionally risking our lives.

The Daredevil slot machine is found at all Vegas Technology casinos. It has a max bet of 1 coin per line giving a total max bet per game of 20 coins. You can play in a large range of coin sizes starting at a penny and going up as high as $10. As usual the bigger you bet the bigger the jackpots.

The game has some great graphics which really add to the theme well. On the reels you have symbols such as cars, trucks, trophies, helmets, flaming rings, checkered flags and hearts. The 1st position symbol is wild and substitutes for everything but the scattered trophy and bonus symbols.

Top jackpot during regular play is 10,000 coins which is won by lining up five of the wild symbols. The scatters also offer a 10,000 coin pay as if you get all five trophies on the screen at the same time you win 500 times your total bet. This means there are two ways to hit the top jackpot.

Landing three or more of the scattered trophy symbols awards the free spin bonus. You get 15 free spins with all line wins tripled. Both bonuses can be triggered on the free games although wins on the Jump Bonus are not tripled if the bonus is won during the feature.

The cars symbols activate the bonus game. You need to get a Bonus Car symbol on both reels 2 and 4 at the same time. Unlike most slots the position of the bonus symbols are important as the pay outs on the bonus stage are multiplied by the amount of lines the bonus symbols appear on. This is a bit of a draw back as if you get the bonus symbols only appearing on one line the bonus pays can actually be less than your total bet.

The bonus stage is an animated stunt game. There are four stunts to perform and successfully making one lets you progress to the next. Each successful jump awards a bonus win. The bonus is a perfect fit for the theme and really does add to the whole experience (View Screenshot).

Overall, Daredevil Dave is a good quality slot with some big jackpots available on the reels especially during the free spins. The only negative is the fact that you can win less than your bet on the bonus stage which is a bit strange.
