Only a few days ago we reviewed the new progressive game Treasure
Nile. With a starting jackpot of $40,000 it was clear to us that we
would be seeing some really big winners soon. Today it was announced
that the first winner, Suzanne G has picked up a $105,248.06 jackpot.
 The game itself is the first addition to the Microgaming progressive
range for almost a year. It was well worth the wait however as Treasure
Nile sets a new record base level prize for Microgaming and is also
the first true progressive video slot. It feature a wild and a scatter
symbol which are also online firsts.
Having only gambled online seven times, Suzanne was playing at the
Lucky Nugget when she lined up the five golden masks on the ninth
pay line. By playing the maximum bet of $4.50 per spin she made sure
that if the combination was to come in that the jackpot would be hers.
"I was ECSTATIC! I jumped up and down and started running
and screaming. I told my family and all my friends. I really enjoy
Treasure Nile as there are so many different lines to play on. This
is the first time I won and only about the seventh time I have ever
played online and I plan on playing a lot more."
 With all 70 of the participating casinos now having the game we
predict that Treasure Nile will soon break the online jackpot record
which currently stands at $126,346.20 won on Cash Splash. The first
Treasure Nile jackpot was just a shade over $20,000 short of breaking
this record first time out.
Update : Just five days after writing this article
the second winner, Linda W. managed to break the record with a win
of $150,391.60.
