The records are getting broken this year at an amazing rate online
and offline. IGT's Megabucks just paid out a $39,713,982.25
win in March making it the world record win paid by a slot machine.
While the online jackpots are not nearly as big they have still
been setting records.
First we had Ronald H. win $1,626,184.56 breaking the online jackpot
record held by Tony P. with his $1,594,694.21 win in 2002. It
took nine months for this record to be beaten. No just a couple
of months after Ronald's big win and Jim L has hit for $1,683,526.64
- beating Ronald's record by $57,000. He was playing at The Lucky
Nugget, one of 70 Microgaming powered casinos.
All three online winners won their big cash prize on Major Millions.
So how does it feel to win such a huge prize? "It was just a regular
day. I came home from work, sat down to relax and play a little.
Once the jackpot hit, I just sat there and stared at the screen
for about 15 minutes. I was totally numb. Then I got up and danced
around the house. I couldn't believe my eyes."

dollar jackpots. To qualify for the jackpot you have to play the
max bet of $3 per spin and to win it you need to line up three
or the wild Major Millions logos on the third pay line.
Two of the winners, Jim L and Tony P have shared some of their
tips for success on the slots. "Always play within your means
and look for the Microgaming symbol at any casino you play." said
Tony in an earlier interview. Jim had some different advice, "Just
do what's right and be the best person you can be. That's what
I try and do."
On to the fun part, does Jim have any plans for the money? "I would
like to build a new house. I want to either remodel or rebuild
the home we are living in now for my 81-year old mother and I will
build my dream home. My 15 year old son still doesn't know about
this. He'll go bonkers! I am going to put some of the money away
for his college education."
