This month we see another software update from Microgaming and more new
games. Two new progressives have been added to the line up which are sure
to become very popular as well as two new bonus feature video slots. The
stand out addition is King Cashalot - one of the new progressives.
King Cashalot is a five reel, nine line game with a fixed coin size of
5¢. The jackpot starts at a big $100,000 and max bet is 45 coins
or $2.25. This is half the price of Treasure Nile which has a base jackpot
of $40,000. To win the progressive you need to line up five wild kings
on the ninth line.
Apart from the big top jackpot the game is also the first progressive
from Microgaming to have a bonus game. Hitting three dragons on the middle
three reels awards a pick a box bonus where you get three chances to pick
up a big prize. Overall the game is fun to play and is set to become very
popular.
Another game added in this update is Tunzamunni. Again Microgaming have
added something different that we have not seen before. In this case it
is the first nickel spinning reel type slot. It has a max bet of five
coins and a starting jackpot of $10,000 - pretty good considering max
bet is just 25¢.
The game has a jungle theme mixed with the red, white and blue theme.
Lining up a white, a red and a blue seven with max bet wins the top jackpot.
As you would expect the rest of the wins are much lower than $10,000.
Second highest pay is $250 - still not bad when you look at the max
bet.
In addition to the new progressives you will also find Tally Ho, a five
reel nine line bonus video slot with a free spin feature. The game has
a British hunting theme and offers the highest free spin multiplier
that we have seen online. Three horns activates ten free spins
with all wins quadrupled.
It looks like Microgaming have decided to increase their game range on
a regular basis. This is great to see as it is always nice to have something
new to play when you log in to your favorite casino. We have already seen
Major Millions, Cash Splash, Fruit Fiesta and Lotsaloot released with
five reel versions so the remaining progressives should be coming soon.
