Microgaming Increases Game Range

Published : 24th of June, 2004

As we hit the middle of 2004 Microgaming have upgraded their software and added yet more games. New games include two video slots and new versions of two popular progressives including on with a big 25 lines. They have also added a new ten hand video poker game as well.

In April we saw Cash Splash and Major Millions released in the five reel format and now we have two more of the progressive game getting the additional format - Fruit Fiesta and Lotsaloot.

Fruit Fiesta
The video slot version has five reels and fifteen lines. It has a fixed coin size of 5¢ and a max of 15 coins per spin giving the same 75¢ max bet as the original three reel version.

To win the top jackpot you need to line up five of the wild Fruit Fiesta logos on the 15th line. Getting the same combo on lines 1 through 14 awards the second highest pay of $300. The biggest win on Fruit Fiesta was $157,438.60.

Lotsaloot
Microgaming have gone for a totally new 25 line format with the new version of Lotsaloot. With a coin size of 10¢ the max bet is $2.50 per spin. If you are a video slot fan it is a must play.

The new format makes for a really high hit rate, it is unusual to go more than one or two spins without at least hitting a winning combo. Just like in the original the Lotsaloot symbol is wild and is the key to the jackpot. In this case you have to line up five on the 25th line for the big win.

The Other Slots
While the new progressives are great, some players prefer games where the top prize is fixed. Both of the following new games have the advantage of multiple coin sizes. This means you can play for as little as nine cents a spin or as much as $90. Of course the bigger you bet the more you can win.

Secret Admirer
With a romantic theme and a special bonus game where wins are held and the other reels are re-spun, Secret Admirer is sure to be a hit with male and female players alike.

What A Hoot
With an amusing owl theme, What A Hoot offers jackpots as high as 5,000 coins and can be played in coin sizes ranging from 1¢ to $5. It features a scatter and wild symbol.

Where To Play
All of the new games will be rolled out at all 70 Microgaming casinos by the end of today. When you load up the software next you will see the new games available for download. Simply click the game name, wait for the download or play other games while you wait and you are ready to go.

If you are new to online slots then we can highly recommend the following top rated Microgaming casinos Spin Palace, Platinum Play and Jackpot City. All three feature the games above as well as over 100 other games.
