A $53,776 win on Lotsaloot by lucky winner Lucille M on May 18th
has pushed the total jackpots awarded by Microgaming progressives
to over $30,000,000. Lucille's win is the 61st jackpot to be won that
is over the $50,000 mark and is sure to not be the last as progressive
mania sweeps the Internet.
With so many players vying for the same jackpots it is interesting
to see that some players are hitting big more than once. These winners
include Jean G who has won a total of $305,163.73 with six jackpots
on the Lotsaloot game - a current world record for the most jackpots
won.
Other multiple winners include Blake R
who has lined up the jackpot symbols on Cash Splash three times for
a total of $272,957.56 and Debbie R who has hit on three of the five
games for a big $271,263.24 in winnings. If Lucille keeps playing
we may well see her on this list in the coming weeks.
Microgaming is clearly leading the charge with an average of over
$2,500,000 being awarded to an average of 100 players per month. The
most popular game is still the original Cash Splash which account
for 50% of the winners and $1,500,000 of the jackpots. In total there
are four progressive games available at Microgaming casinos.
These games are Cash
Splash, Fruit
Fiesta, Lotsaloot and Wowpot.
All four games are three reel slots. They have a range of pay line
configurations going from single to five line and all have a max bet
of $3 or less. Considering that the jackpots are hitting more and
more frequently over $50,000 they all offer a great bet to win ratio.
All of the jackpots are linked in each casino. This means that no
matter which casinos you choose to play at you will have the same
jackpots to play for.
This linked jackpot system uses the same principal as the IGT Megajackpots
system. By making games available at multiple casinos the jackpots
grow faster, get bigger and hit more frequently - all good things
for players.
Rumor has it that several new games will be added to the progressive
range in the coming months. This includes the Internet's first five reel,
nine line game. Stay tuned for more information about the new games.
