The Street Fighter arcade was released in 1987 and became an instant classic. Cryptologic have scored the exclusive rights to the Street Fighter brand from Capcom and have released the Street Fighter video slot machine. The game features impressive animations and a great fight bonus stage.
If you are familiar with the arcade game you will instantly recognize the characters on the reels. Just like the video game. before you start playing you have to select your player. In this instance the player you select becomes your wild symbol and bonus feature symbol.
You can choose from Ken, Ryu, Sagat, Chun Li or Guile - all characters from the original game. Your selected symbol becomes wild and joins Bison on the reels. The wilds only appear on reels 2 and 4 so there is no payout for five wild symbols. Top pay on the reels is 5000 coins for five shields.
Next highest pay is 3000 credits for five gloves followed by 2500 coins for five scattered Street Fighter logos. Other five symbol pays range from 500 to 100 credits. Wins pay aligned left to right only except the scattered Street Fighter logos which pay in any position.
The real fun starts when you hit your selected wild symbol anywhere on reel two and Bison appears on reel 4. The whole game then turns into a fight scene from the arcade. The fighters smash through reels two and four and make all positions on those reels wild (View Screenshot).
The free spins continue until one of the fighters is knocked out. Because you have two of the reels all wild the chances of getting the bigger wins increase as you only need to line up three symbols to win big. You are also awarded bonus credits when your fighter makes a successful attack on Bison.
The attacks are decided by the small icons that appear on reel one and five during the bonus. A fist indicates the player will punch, a boot indicates the player will kick, a fist and a boot indicates the player will make a combo attack and a star means the player will use their special move.
The fight scenes are really impressive and capture the Street Fighter theme perfectly. If your fighter wins you get an additional bonus when the free games end. Overall this is one of the most unique free spin bonus games we have ever seen - online or offline.
